Citing Sources
Many useful websites for citing sources are listed on the library's website.
You can always find them by clicking on Research Tools from the left hand menu and then choosing Citing Sources.
Good ones to use include:
- Citation Style for Researchers from Long Island University.
You can select the format you are required to use. This site uses color coding for the various elements of a citation such as green for publisher. - Citing Your Sources from the University of California at Berkeley.
You can select your format. This site has an indepth list of the types of sources you might be using.
- The Citation Machine.
You choose your format and then the type of source. A form is provided to enter the elements such as author. This site then does the format for you.
