Research Your Topic
Identify the main terms which describe what you need. (See Focusing Your Topic.) These terms will be the key words you use to search the catalog and databases.
Use these key words to find:
- Books or DVDs in the Library Catalog. Click here to learn how.
- Articles in the Library's subscription databases:
- Two excellent general databases are ProQuest and Academic Search Complete. Both have a wide range of journals, magazine and newspapers, which will have the most current information about various careers.
