Citing Sources
Many useful websites for citing sources are listed in the library's Best of the Web feature.
Good ones to use are:
- Citation Style for Researchers from Long Island University. You can select the format you are required to use. This site uses color coding for the various elements of a citation such as green for the publisher.
- Citing Your Sources from the University of California at Berkeley. You can select your format. This site has an in-depth list of the types of sources you may be using.
- The Citation Machine - You choose your format and then the type of source. A form is provided to enter the elements such as author. The site then does the format for you.
You can also use books in the library collection:
- MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers
