You can do more than search the online catalog for books and other materials.
Go to the online catalog, VCCS Linc and sign in to "My Account":
- Review your account
- Renew books already checked out
- Place a hold on a book
Review: From My Account, you will find:
Renew: From My Account/User Info/Activities, you can renew books.
Place a Hold on a Circulating Item: By signing into My Account you can place holds on circulating items. You can sign in: (1) before you search the catalog, or (2) when you are placing a hold. After you find your title, click on campus. (You can also click on View Record to see title details and then click on Holdings or Location) The item record and the Request This Item option will display.
Please be sure to designate your pickup campus, that is, where the item will be sent so you can pick it up. If you select Annandale, you will have to pick the item up from Annandale Library. If an item is checked out when you place the hold, it will be available for you when it is returned to the library. Edit the second date for Period of Interest to the last date you will be interested in receiving the item. In the first note field, enter your email address or telephone number.
