INTRODUCTION:
MUS 242  (2 credits)

This course continues advanced applications begun in MUS 241. Included are solo repertoire works of appropriate performance level.

Focus also includes scale and arpeggio study in 3 and 4 octaves, transposition, harmonization using primary and secondary chords and advanced ensemble pieces.

Advanced Class Piano II may be used as a general or Humanities elective.

Lecture 1 hour. Laboratory 2 hours.
Total 3 hours per week.
