Welcome The Annandale campus offers a variety of courses that support the six-hour general education social science requirement. Psychology is only one of several courses that help students meet this social science requirement. These courses are designed with several types of students in mind: those enrolling in an A.A. or A.S. degree programs, those planning to transfer to four-year degree programs and those seeking enrichment courses. The psychology discipline also offers a specialization in psychology for students with a particular interest in psychology. The A.A. program is designed for students with an interest in areas such as developmental and counseling psychology. The A.S. program is designed for students with an interest in research psychology. Faculty members are dedicated instructors who utilize a variety of instructional media, including power point presentations, field trips, service learning and ELI (Extended Learning Institute) courses. |
