In the month of March there will be a Shelter-in-Place Tornado Preparedness Drill. On March 18 at 9:45 a.m. the entire college (all campuses) will participate in what the Governor has entitled as "Tornado Preparedness Day." It is important that everyone take a few moments to check the Shelter-in-Place plan and the designated location for the severe weather shelter on your floor and/or building.

Additionally, there is a great presentation included on this site - all about tornadoes and Virginia's experience with them. It is very interesting, entertaining and educational. Please take a moment to take a look - the link is on the list to the right of this paragraph, right under the Designated Location link, it is entitled: "Tornado Safety". Please also continue to feel free to look around the site and be sure to check the information frequently.
