I. Program Summary
- Program length: September – June.
- Non-refundable Application fee: $25.00.
- Participants must be selected to join the program.
- Once selected into the program, participant must pay the program fee.
- Non-refundable Program Fee: Sliding scale based on previous year’s revenues and starts at $495.
II. Program Goal: To increase participants’ revenue through local, state and federal government contracts or subcontracts.
III. Program Benefits:
- Receive business counseling and business mentoring.
- Obtain technical assistance, business tools and knowledge for preparation of bids or proposals.
- Participate in training workshops/seminars on business topics.
- Widen business networking opportunities with government buyers and large vendors who are looking for SWaM vendors, contractors or subcontractors.
- Connect businesses with NOVA workforce development programs for employee recruitment and training.
