English as a Second Language
ESL Testing and Registration November 18, 2009 – January 15, 2010. Students must take a writing and speaking test to register for CE ESL classes. Call 703.323.3168 to make an appointment. Register for classes after you take the test.

Registration Policy

New student?

• Complete an application online at https://apply.vccs.edu/.
• Call 703.323.3323 or 703.323.3322 to make an appointment for a writing/speaking test.
• Bring a printout with your student ID number and a picture ID to the ACLI Office (CE 202) when you come for testing.
• Register for classes after you take the test.

Returning student? Register for any class at your level. Check with the ACLI counselors in CE 202 if you have questions about the best class for you.

New student on an F-1 Visa?  You must register for two intensive classes.

Refund Policy

To receive a refund for ESL classes you must cancel the class by 5:00 pm on the following dates:

• January 25, 2010 - Final refund date for all intensive courses (1980-1986, 1970-1976, 1916, 1995 and 1996)
• February 1, 2010 - Final refund date for all other ESL classes.
