The Continuing Education English as a Second Language Program (CE ESL) serves local residents and international students in their efforts to improve their English language skills. Our dedicated staff of administrators, advisors, and instructors will help you to achieve your goals of language proficiency for self-improvement, academic studies, and job enhancement.
The CE ESL Program offers basic through advanced classes both on campus and in the workplace. Courses offerings include intensive and part-time classes in the areas of reading, writing, listening, speaking, and pronunciation. Specialty classes focus on computer skills for ESL students, TOEFL Preparation, Introduction to American Culture, etc. The CE ESL Program also prepares volunteers to teach in community-based programs through the course, Methods of Teaching ESL.
