VA Approved Program!
The Project Management Certificate Program provides you with skills you can apply immediately, helping your organization meet both internal and external challenges. These courses use the latest version of the Project Management Institute’s Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). You’ll learn about the five basic process groups - Initiating, Planning, Executing, Controlling, and Closing. The courses offered cover these groups by addressing in detail the following process areas: planning and managing integration, scope, time, cost, risk, and procurement.
To earn the certificate, you must successfully complete all six courses and pass a short exam. Individual certificates of completion will be given for each course in the program. Also, courses in this program can be used to earn PDU’s for PMP recertification.

- Project Management Communication
- Effective Process Definition & Metrics
- Team Dynamics: Participation, Facilitation & Management
(All courses may not be offered every semester.)
Target Audience:
This certificate program is designed for project managers, team leaders, members and other professionals who want to learn foundational project management theories and techniques. They will be able to apply these to their own projects, helping them to complete those projects on time and within budget.
