The purpose of the Office of Workforce Development and Continuing Education at the Annandale Campus of NVCC is to respond to the educational and training needs of its dynamic and diverse constituencies. This is accomplished through an array of comprehensive programs and services that facilitate learning and workforce development.

Welcome
The Office of Workforce Development and Continuing Education helps to plan and provides many types of programs to meet special interests within the community. Continuing Education programs are offered to enable you to pursue lifelong learning experiences. These may include non-credit and credit classes offered during the day and/or evening hours. Business, industry and professional organizations contract with NVCC to provide special courses for their employees. These programs are taught on campus as well as at the organization’s workplace.
A list of current Continuing Education courses is included on this web site. Courses and workshops often result from requests and suggestions made by individuals or groups within the community. The topics vary from job skills to personal enrichment. These programs pay for themselves through the fees charged to participants.
