Our purpose is to deliver knowledge to a broad base of individuals seeking to develop their management skills, to companies and government organizations seeking to provide outsourced training and education for their entry-level supervisors and middle managers, all in the area of first-line supervision and middle management skill development. The deliverables are provided in the traditional classroom on campus, through Internet delivery means, through applied management experiences and contracted onsite courses.

The Business Management Department at the Annandale campus of Northern Virginia Community College is the sponsor of the annual Student Business Plan Competition. Students compete for cash prizes through their entry of a business plan, which is judged by faculty and business leaders from the local community.
