The mission of the Business and Public Services Division at the Annandale Campus is to enhance and support the mission and purpose of the VCCS and NOVA. The division seeks to accomplish this through the delivery of high quality, comprehensive associate degree programs, certificates, and courses in a broad array of business and public services disciplines. The Division offers an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration.

Associate of Applied Science degrees are available in Accounting, Administration of Justice, Business Management,Fire Science Administration, Hospitality Management, Information Technology (Information Systems Technology), Marketing, and Travel and Tourism.

Many of the Associate of Applied Science degree programs also offer specializations and certificates. Specializations are available in Finance, International Business, Fire Protection Technology, Fire Science Investigation, Food Service Management, Hotel Management, Nutrition Management, Microcomputer, Network Administration, Network Engineering, Software Development, and eCommerce.

Certificates can be earned in Bookkeeping, Administration of Justice, Information Processing, Small Business Management, Culinary Arts, Food Service Management, Hotel Management, Real Estate Brokerage, Convention and Exposition Management, and Travel and Tourism.

Career Studies Certificates are also obtainable in Accounting, Industrial and Commercial Security, Physical Security, Desktop Publishing, Information Processing, Word Processing, Business Information Technology, Business Management Principles, International Business, Information Technology (Information Systems Technology), Microcomputer Usage, Network Security, Healthcare Marketing & Public Relations, Marketing, Retail Management, Real Estate Brokerage, Real Estate Appraisal, and Tour Guiding.

The Business and Public Services Division has over 4,000 full time equivalent students (FTES) per year, and offers upwards of 1300 classes for the Summer, Fall and Spring semesters. With thirty nine full time faculty and staff members and 100 adjuncts, this is the largest division at Annandale, accounting for 57% of the FTES on the campus.
