Access to Student Records
The College enforces the "Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974" (Public Law 93-380 Education Amendment of 2974) in providing for the privacy of official student records and the rights of students to review these records. You may review your official records by making a request to your home campus Student Services Center.
Enrollment Verification
In Person
Students may visit any Student Services Center to request an Enrollment Verification in person. The form can be completed and stamped by a Student Services Specialist after the census date for the enrollment term.
External Requests
Student enrollment information cannot be released without a written request and signature from the student, except to certain authorized college officials. Information which is considered public information is described in the current issue of the College Student Handbook.
No verifications are confirmed until the census date for the enrollment term has passed. Written verifications will be processed and mailed within 10 days of the request.
Photo identification is required for verification pick-up in the Student Services Center. An original singed “authorization” will be required to release any information to anyone other than the student.
Please include the following information on each request:
- Student Name
- Student SS#
- Student's current mailing address and telephone phone number
- Name and Address where the information will be sent
- If verification will be picked up by someone other than the student the person's name and telephone number must be on the original request.
