Saturday, September 13 – Sunday, September 14
Caving/Camping Trip
Cost: $35.00

Cost includes transportation, food except for lunch on Saturday, extra batteries, and the cost of the camp site.  The caves are located in Franklin, WV and trip will be led by geology professor Callan Bentley.  The van departs at 8:00 a.m. sharp on Saturday, September 13th and returns on Sunday, September 14th at approximately 7:00 p.m. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS!  This is a camping trip.  If you have a tent we ask that you bring it.  For more information, please contact Jessie Zahorian at 703-323-3484 or jzahorian@nvcc.edu.  Space is limited.  Your must pay, fill out a liability waiver, a medical release agreement, and a behavioral contract in order to reserve your space!  You will also be given a list of things to bring.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with the Office of Student Activities and the Hispanic Student Union!  A variety of performances will be shown ranging from a Capoeira demonstration, Mariachi Estrellas, Flamenco dancing, and more.  Sample Hispanic cuisine as well.

Henry Aldana, an immigrant from El Salvador and former NOVA student founded ALDANA & ASSOCIATES, PSC, LTD an accounting firm in 1994.  In May 2001, Henry Aldana, received the National Advocate Accountant of the Year award from President Bush at a reception at the White House and hosts a weekly radio show.
