Jobs at the Writing Assistance Center

Would you like to become a writing consultant? You must have:

  • great writing skills
  • outstanding communication skills
  • an associate degree
  • experience related to the field of reading and/or writing

Beyond these qualifications, writing consultants must undergo training to learn effective ways to support and encourage student writers. Writing consultants will also work to help a student become more independent and assume more responsibility for their own writing.
