Why did you choose to enroll at NVCC?
I chose to come to NVCC because I heard it was the best for the course that I was interested in taking. Also the scholarship that I won was for NVCC.

What were your goals and objectives when you entered NVCC?
Have they changed or expanded since your enrollment? How and why?
My goal is to become a certified substance abuse counselor. The classes that I am taking I feel will be very beneficial for me. My goals have expanded. I plan on getting my AA degree, which I hadn’t really thought about before. I am enjoying school very much.

Describe the NVCC Experience.
The experience here is awesome. I can’t believe that I am in college. I was afraid that I was going to be too old. I see that there are a lot of students my age and older.

What has been your favorite class here at NVCC, your favorite instructor and why?
My favorite instructor is Dr. Lewis-Holmes. She is a wonderful instructor. She listens to you and she talks with you not at you. She is always there for you whenever you may have any questions to ask. She never pushes you to the side or run out of the class room as soon as it is over.

Describe a favorite NVCC memory?
My favorite memory was the day that I went to the bookstore to buy my books.

How has NVCC helped you to achieve your career and life goals?
I am still working on achieving my goal

What advice would you give to a student considering attending NVCC?
My advice would be not to consider attending, Just do it.
