Communication Studies and Theatre (Speech and Drama)

Faculty

The Speech & Drama (SPD) department is comprised of four full-time faculty members, one part-time faculty member, and five adjunct faculty members, all of whom bring to the classroom a wide range of professional and academic experience in the field of communication and/or theatre. All faculty members are dedicated to reducing the anxiety that students often associate with speaking/performing in front of others. Furthermore, faculty members offer a relaxed classroom atmosphere, a creative teaching style, and a challenging learning environment. We are certain that you will enjoy all of the classes taught by the SPD faculty members, and that you will find yourself at a new level of confidence as a result of the experience in their classroom.
