The Alexandria Campus Career Development Team specializes in helping students
with self-assessment and exploration into the world of work. Team members
perform the following tasks to assist the campus community with career/life
planning needs:
Provide one-on-one and small group career and personal counseling
Develop curriculum for and teach credit courses on career/life planning
issues
Design and deliver workshops on career-related topics
Edit and distribute publications on career trends
Procure and organize materials for the career library and resource
center
Communicate with employers and manage the job referral service for
full-time, part-time, volunteer, internship and seasonal positions
Perform outreach activities at local schools, businesses and non-profit
agencies.
