In addition to learning more about yourself, your strengths and interests, students gain valuable experience which can enhance applications and opportunities for employment and transfer to four-year universities.

Student leadership experience may create opportunities for scholarship eligibility. Involvement in Campus and College events, activities and organizations often brings students into contact with faculty, staff and administrators which, in turn, can provide opportunities for letters of recommendation. The friendships students develop, working together as a team on projects and goals, often remain strong long after graduation.
