Help is Available for Your Event

Organizations who are looking for cost-effective yet state-of-the-art meeting space choose the Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center. Whether you have a meeting planner working on your next event or special meeting, the Center offers an a la carte menu of meeting services that can be tailored to your specific needs.

These services are designed to make rental of the Schlesinger Center a turn-key operation. Depending on your budget and special requirements, rental of the Center and use of these services may be more affordable than traditional meeting spaces, including hotels.

Fee-based Supplemental Meeting Services
Hourly or project rates are available and are provided outside the scope of the Center contract.
Ann M. Dorman, CMP, is a professional meeting planner willing to work with you within the confines of your budget and timeline to contract for and supervise all requested logistics and details of your meeting or special event. Meeting Service fees include coordination of requested services and all associated costs (e.g, food, printing, etc.). Available services include:

Graphic Design and Printing - This includes creation of such items as invitations, place cards, marketing information and signs or banners for your event, among others.

Entertainment - We can provide you with options ranging from classical pianists to Latin salsa music.

Catering - A wide range of caterers service the Schlesinger Center, providing everything from simple coffee service to elegant black tie dinners on the stage of the Concert Hall and receptions in the Wachovia Forum.

Tents - Need additional function space beyond the confines of the spacious Schlesinger Center? We can offer a variety of suppliers of canopies and tents, fans, heaters…anything that will make you forget you're in a tent!

Other - We can also research and procure select services upon request, such as wait staff, decorations, table linens and the like.
