SCHLESINGER CENTER EVENT PARKING
ORGANIZATIONS AND/OR EVENT SPONSORS NOT MAKING PROPER ARRANGEMENTS WITH PARKING SERVICES PRIOR TO THEIR EVENT WILL AUTOMATICALLY DEFAULT TO OPTION 2.
The host organization can rent Beauregard Street Garage, which has 534 parking spaces, for a flat fee of $1,650.00. Campus Parking Services will provide two parking attendants for traffic and pedestrian control. Sponsors will coordinate billing arrangements with the Campus Parking Supervisor.
Campus Parking Services will collect $6.00/car per car at the entrance to the garage from patrons and performers or staff attending the event. It is the responsibility of the organization to inform their patrons, performers, and staff of the parking fee prior to their arrival to the event. Please contact the campus parking supervisor for the current per-car rate.
The organization will pre-purchase hang-tag passes for their performers/staff only, at the same $6.00/car /per date. The organization can pre-purchase hang-tag passes for any necessary rehearsals, as well as the specific event date. Please contact the campus parking supervisor for the current per-car rate. It is the responsibility of the organization to inform their patrons of the parking fee prior to their arrival at the event and to ensure that individuals in possession of the hang-tag passes are aware that they must have the passes displayed or risk receiving a parking citation. Event parking: Campus Parking Services will collect $6.00/car at the entrance to the garage from patrons attending the event. Organizations using commercial buses intending to park on campus will be charged $25 per bus (city and/or county school buses are exempt from this charge). It is the responsibility of the organization renting the facility to collect this money from the commercial bus companies as bus charges will be invoiced to the organization renting the Schlesinger Center.
