The
Military Site Office ( MSO) of Northern Virginia
Community College (NVCC) offers
free credit evaluation to its students governed by NVCC
rules. Simply stated a student must
complete at least one course through NVCC before a student can request
an evaluation of
transcripts. In addition, a student must complete at
least one quarter of their degree from
NVCC, plus meet the specific remaining requirements of a degree
before NVCC will award
a degree to a student.
Furthermore, as part of our evaluation it is NVCC's
Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges
(SOC), policy each Military
Student who completes 6 credit hours through NVCC also complete
a SOC agreement with NVCC unless the student has a SOC agreement
through another
College. In addition to being NVCC's policy, it is also Military
Policy. NVCC has to turn
into the Military copies of Students (SOC) agreement.
