needs of our Military Student. NVCC offers a variety
of two year degree plans, which may meet the Navy's
requirement for the Senior Enlisted Education Initiative associates
Degree for E8.
Currently NVCC is working with the Education Service Office,
Naval Station Anacostia, to provide the following two year
degrees to those Sailors who receive their TA from Anacostia

accredited. For most of our degrees a student need
only complete one quarter of their degree though NVCC, this
is called degree residency. Therefore, a student could
transfer in via other regionally accredited sources , i.e.
SMARTS, CLEP/DSST, AP/IB, other Regionally Accredited Colleges,
three quarters of the remaining balance.
