Welcome to the Military Site Office of the Alexandria Campus.

Northern Virginia Community College  is an open access, comprehensive community college offering two-year associate degrees, one-year certificates, and career studies certificates as well as continuing education and community services programs.   One of the many conveniences NVCC offers is the Military Site Office (MSO).  With the help of the MSO Staff, they will provide to the Military Student and their dependents many of the same services the student will find on campus such as  admissions, registration, credit evaluation and educational advising.

One of the unique questions common to most Military Students and their Dependents, deal with the issue of in state vs. out of state tuition rates.  Please see link for more details on this issue.  In addition, this topic is covered somewhat on this web site's Admissions page.

Become a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer or complete other certificate programs with NVCC. For some branches of the Military, Tuition Assistance is authorized for courses that are offered by accredited academic institutions that contract with a learning network or courseware vendor to provide courses or training.  Contact your Base Education Office for more information. If Tuition Assistance is approved, please contact your Military Site Administrator.
