Why is it important to be "information literate"?
The video notes that anyone can put anything on the Internet. What are the consequences of this for you as a student?
In doing research for class projects, think about some of the web pages you have come across that you have dismissed as inappropriate sources of information. How did you decide that a particular web page was not a good source of information?
What are some ways to determine whether or not a particular web page is a good, accurate, and appropriate source of information for a research project?
In general, should web pages be your only information sources for college research? Why or why not?
