Guide for References in APA Style

 

Provided below are just a few examples of references in APA style for different kinds of sources.

 

 

Book (Print)

Notice in the first two webpage examples above that the names of the host websites (Earth Sangha, WebMD) are not given.  In APA style the name of the host website is typically only given if the site is large and complex, such as a university web site or a government website, as seen in the third & fourth examples.
