Intercampus Loan Information

The Alexandria Campus Library participates in intercampus loans with the other NVCC campuses: Annandale (AN), Loudoun (LO), Manassas (MA), Medical (MEC), and Woodbridge (WO).

Here's how to request an item from another campus:

Find the item you want in the Library Catalog -
     http://vccslinc.vccs.edu/F/?func=find-b-0&local_base=nvcc
Click on "Request this item"
      If you do not see this option, click on the name of the campus
      that owns the item you want.
Log in to your account (if you have not already done so):
Students, Faculty & Staff: Enter your NovaConnect ID and Password
Community Patrons:    
     Ask library staff for your barcode password.
     Enter library card barcode as ID. Enter password.

It typically takes 2-3 business days for items to be transferred. You can check the status of your request by logging back in to your Library Catalog account.

A NOVA photo ID is needed to borrow any item.
