In 1965 a new educational opportunity became available for thousands of Northern Virginians when Northern Virginia Community College opened its doors. From humble beginnings at the renovated Carlyn Springs Road warehouse, to great growth and expansion into 6 campuses serving the entire region, NOVA has come a long way. Since the move to “Eastern” campus in 1973 the library has also experienced development and growth. Trace the history of Your Alexandria Library and campus through an exhibit of College Catalogs, yearbooks, Literary Contest Winners, an Oral History of the College and more!
