Come and study at NOVA!  Our French language courses are infused with the rich diversity of the French-speaking world. Whether you are interested in France, Sénegal or a myriad of other Francophone locations, our program has something for you.

We offer beginning and intermediate courses for students who will be transferring to four-year institutions, as well as for those who just want to learn the language.  (FRE 101/102, 201/202) 
We offer daytime and evening courses in the classroom, as well as online courses and hybrids.
We offer two levels of pronunciation workshops, that take all the mystery out of French pronunciation.  (FRE 199, 299)

Need to brush up your grammar?  We offer two levels of grammar review, both in the classroom and as hybrids. (FRE 198, 298)
Want to practice speaking?  We have two levels of conversation courses. (FRE 111/112, 211/212)

Join our new French cooking workshops, which culminate in a day of cooking in the kitchen of a French restaurant, under the direction of the chef.   Enjoy our culture and civilization courses, study French cinéma  (FRE 233, 234) or improve your ease in speaking with a conversation course.

Our French program has a variety of traditional face to face classes that are web enhanced, hybrid courses that provide a combination of the best of f2f and online instruction, and totally online courses that are offered through the Extended Learning Institute.
