Writer's Work: Literary Magazine

Writer's Work, the literary magazine at the Alexandria Campus, is a student-run periodical that provides a medium for students interested in creative writing to publish their poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and drama. The magazine was founded in 1981, as an outgrowth of The Warehouse Journal, at that time a magazine of both writing and visual arts. In 1981, as a result of the necessity for students to have an independent magazine for writing, Writer's Work was begun. The name of the magazine was selected by students after a campus-wide call for suggestions for a name had been announced.
