Dr. Ranjit Singh

Elections and War in Afghanistan

Dr. Ranji Singh

Ranjit Singh is Assistant Professor at the University of Mary Washington, where he teaches international relations and Middle East politics. Dr.Singh has spent seven years in the Middle East, including Syria, Egypt, Tunisia, Jordan, Bahrain, Israel, and Palestine. His is the author or co-author of numerous articles and opinion pieces on Middle East politics. Since 1994, he has served as an international observer to elections held in South Africa, Namibia, Bangladesh, Liberia, Palestine, and, most recently, Afghanistan. He holds a Ph. D. in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.
