Alexandria's
Information Technology Services is committed to providing timely technical
support to meet our customer's IT needs. We
are here to respond to your service calls as quickly as possible, and
to continuously monitor the network. We upgrade campus computers
and software annually to provide students, faculty and staff with
up-to-date and advanced computer technology.
At the campus
and 3 outlying sites, there
are over 1,500 computers supported by 15 file servers in a high-speed, fast Ethernet LAN environment. The college utilizes
Microsoft
Windows and Office products as part of the standard suite of office
automation software, complete with Course Technology instructional software running
in student
labs for all academic divisions.
Campus IT
Services is responsible for providing technical
support to the Alexandria Campus, Arlington Center, Ft. Myer, Henderson Hall and the Pentagon.
