Please Note: F-1 students must take ESLA 1970-1975 and ESLA 1980-1986.

J-1 Students: Six academic credits equal 80 hours or 8.0 CEUs in Continuing Education courses.

 

Information

All new students must get a NOVA ID number and take a writing and an oral placement test.

  1. To get your NOVA ID number, go to: http://www.nvcc.edu and click on "Apply Now".
  2. You can take the ACLI Writing Placement Test in the Testing   Center in the Bisdorf Building, Room 332.
    • You must arrive 3 hours prior to closing Monday-   Friday to take the Accuplacer Test.
    • Please call the Testing Center at 703.845.6035 for hours and directions.
    • You must bring photo ID and NOVA ID # to take the test.
  3. After you finish the ACLI Writing Placement Test, the Testing Center will give you info about the speaking test.

You can park in visitor (metered) parking during the test. You need to bring enough quarters for 2 hours.
