I’m Getting Married” (Planning Your Own Wedding)

The emphasis for this class is to instruct the bride on how to plan her special day–from the pre-wedding events such as the engagement parties to the honeymoon. The foundation will be built on the development of the budget. Each bride will be taught the fundaments of contacting, interviewing and negotiating with wedding service providers. Students will also learn about etiquette issues and how to incorporate their culture, customs or family traditions tastefully.

Wedding Dance Survival

Brides and Grooms – create memories one step at a time by learning to dance together for your wedding! Got two left feet? NO PROBLEM! Gain confidence and skills for your “first dance” while learning from the most recommended wedding dance specialist in the metro area! Avoid the prom sway, escape wedding planning stress and enjoy some dance and romance! Couples will learn a complete routine which includes grand entrance, basic figures, grand finale and formal exit. They will be acclimatized to performing in public, have a dress rehearsal and be able to objectively evaluate themselves. Couples will increase their partnering skills while meeting others who are planning a wedding also.

Your instructor, Deborah Joy, has 10 years of experience teaching thousands of wedding couples in a fun, romantic and affordable way. Her goal is to empower students with confidence and communication skills. Her philosophy is the non-verbal communication involved in partner dancing is a powerful tool for enhancing these traits because it encourages patience, teamwork, trust, respect and cooperation - - all the same assets that contribute toward a happy marriage!

No experience necessary. Must bring a partner. Bring your special song on CD or ipod.
