|Gwen McCrea, Learning Specialist Liaison for the Liberal Arts Division
Gwen’s background is in lifelong learning, from outdoor learning for children to adult education. She started at NOVA as a writing consultant in the Writing Assistance Center. Gwen oversees the academic skills workshop programming, works with students individually as an academic coach, and works closely with faculty in the Liberal Arts Division. Gwen is completing her Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Minnesota. |Richard Noble, Learning Specialist Liaison for the Math, Science & Engineering Division
Dr. Richard Noble III is a Learning Specialist for the Academic Success Center at NOVA's Alexandria Campus. He received his Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has been committed to sharing his passion for mathematics for over 20 years. Dr. Noble has been involved with numerous activities that aim to broaden and encourage participation in STEM among underrepresented groups. |Courtney Boland, Coordinator of the Academic Success Center
Courtney joined the ASC team in July 2014 from West Virginia University. The Coordinator of ACE, Courtney oversees all of ASC services and currently serves as the chair of the Tutoring Service Working Group.
