Council
Jean Netherton Award Winners (.doc)
The Campus Council is an organization engaging
all facets of the Alexandria campus community college life. We have
representatives from all constituencies - students, faculty, administrators,
support staff, librarians, and counselors. We meet monthly to provide
a forum for our mutual concerns about how our life at this campus
might be improved. All meetings are open, and all members of the
campus community are invited to attend.

Our intention is to provide a place where all
voices can be heard, and where we can work on improving the quality
of our academic and collective life at this college. We receive
mandates from the Provost, from the College Senate, and we address
issues that are brought to us by interested members of the college.
The Campus Council also initiates actions when appropriate. If
you have an issue which you think ought to be addressed, or a problem
which you think needs to be aired, please contact the Chair of the
Campus Council, so that your issue might be put on the agenda for
an upcoming meeting.
