PURLs
How to create a persistent URL for an article from a library database for your web page or Blackboard:

  1. Find the article in the database
  2. Copy the URL for the article (right click)
  3. Go to http://library.vccs.edu/reference/purltoez.htm
  4. Paste your URL into the box; script for our proxy server will be added to it.
  5. Copy and paste the new URL onto your web page or Blackboard.
