American Councils for International Education
Founded in 1974 as an association for area and language professionals, American Councils has focused its expertise on academic exchange, professional training, distance learning, curriculum and test development, delivery of technical assistance, research, evaluation, and institution building.
American Association of Community Colleges, International Programs and Services
This division of AACC assists community colleges in promoting global awareness, responsibility, intercultural understanding, and engagement among students, faculty, staff, and decision makers as well as raise recognition of the community college role in global education among key constituencies, nationally and internationally.
American Association of Colleges and Universities
Shared Futures: Global Learning and Social Responsibility is a multi-project, national initiative of the Association of American Colleges and Universities. Shared Futures facilitates curricular change and faculty development on campuses nationwide. The initiative places questions of diversity, identity, citizenship, and responsible action at the heart of global learning. Through an online social network, the initiative hopes to create new connections between educators.
