SPA 112 - CONVERSATION
IN SPANISH II (3 CR.)
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Emphasizes the spoken
language, stressing fluency and correctness of structure, pronunciation,
vocabulary and sociolinguistic appropriateness are evident. Lecture 3 hours
per week.
GENERAL COURSE PURPOSE
This course provides
practice for simple face-to-face conversations in informal settings and
a limited number of transactional situations handling most survival situations
encountered while traveling or residing for a short time in a Hispanic
culture.
ENTRY LEVEL COMPETENCIES
The prerequisite for
this course is SPA 102 - "Beginning Spanish II" or equivalent.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of
this course, the student should be able to:
