PED 133 - GOLF

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Teaches basic golf
skills, rules, etiquette, scoring, terminology, equipment selection and
use, and strategy. Lecture 1 hour. Laboratory 1 hour. Total 2 hours
per week.
GENERAL COURSE PURPOSE
The purpose of this
course is to teach the basic golf swing with the use of each golf club.
The student will get instruction in the rules of golf and how to play a
game of golf.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of
this course the student will be able to:
A. develop a golf
swing/and analyze individual problems.
B. make proper club
selection for specific golf shots.
C. understand the
rules of the game of golf.
D. understand the
basics of playing a game of golf on a golf course.
E. perform beginning
skills with proficiency.
