COURSE DESCRIPTION
Uses hatha Yoga postures and breathing techniques to improve flexibility, stamina, and strength; to combat stress; and promote relaxation. Focuses on the forms of yoga training emphasizing flexibility and strength. Lecture 1 hour. Laboratory 1 hour. Total 2 hours per week.
GENERAL COURSE PURPOSE
To give the student knowledge of skeletal muscle system and knowledge and experience in yoga exercises to strengthen, stretch, and relax these muscles.
