Course Description

HIS 253 surveys east Asia from its beginning to the present. HIS 254 surveys south and southeast Asia from pre-Aryan civilization to the present. Lecture 3 hours per week.

Course Description

To provide and develop an understanding of the foundations of Asia civilizations while helping students fulfill the College's general education requirements and to Promote an awareness and appreciation of Non-Western cultures and the interconnectedness of the world..

Ability to use the English language correctly and effectively at the college entry level.
