ADJ 216 - ORGANIZED CRIME AND CORRUPTION (3 CR.)

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Addresses judicial efforts against and involvement in corruption, drug, vice, and white-collar crimes, both individual and organized. Lecture 3 hours per week.

GENERAL COURSE PURPOSE

The purpose of this course is to provide the student with a basic understanding of the history and structure of criminal organizations and their dynamics as society changes and criminal justice methods affect their criminal and corrupting influence.
