ADJ 157 - COMPUTER SECURITY (3 CR.)

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Examines security concerns with access controls, shutdown alternatives, hardware and software protection, and data encryption. Lecture 3 hours per week.

GENERAL COURSE PURPOSE

The purpose of this course is to provide the student with an awareness of problems associated with providing appropriate security to computer technology hardware, procedures and stored data.
