ADJ 150 - INTRODUCTION TO SECURITY ADMINISTRATION (3 CR.)

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Introduces the student to the field of private security--its history, structures, functions, and personnel; surveys the principles and practices of security administration. Lecture 3 hours per week.

GENERAL COURSE PURPOSE

The purpose of this course is to provide the student with a broad and contemporary overview of security in the multiple areas of proprietary and governmental fields of interest. It is aimed primarily at students beginning their study of security administration.
