Develops cardiovascular fitness through activities designed to elevate and sustain heart rates appropriate to age and physical condition. Lecture 1 hour. Laboratory 1 hour. Total 2 hours per week.
GENERAL COURSE PURPOSE
The course will include a variety of aerobic activities that will be used to elevate the student's heart rate (appropriate to age and physical condition) to a level that will improve cardiovascular efficiency.
