DRF 239 - COMPUTER AIDED RENDERING AND ANIMATION I (3 CR.)


 
 

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Focuses on training students in advanced techniques of 3D rendering and animation utilizing 3D Max software and the principles of photo-realism visualization, which enables the student to create presentation drawings for both architectural and industrial product design. Uses computer animation to produce walk-through that will bring the third dimension to architectural design. Lecture 2 hours, Lab 2 hours.

GENERAL COURSE PURPOSE

Enabling students to acquire better techniques and habits in developing presentations through computer and electronic media.

ENTRY LEVEL COMPETENCIES

Basic technical drawing and CAD exposure. Prerequisite: DRF 232
