COURSE DESCRIPTION
Introduces fundamentals of construction cost estimating. Concentrates on methods for determining labor, equipment, materials, overhead, and profit costs as well as estimating project duration. Lecture 3 hours per week.
GENERAL COURSE PURPOSE
The purpose is to train the student enrolled in the Construction Management curriculum the methods of construction cost estimating.
ENTRY LEVEL COMPETENCIES
Prerequisite is BLD 231 - "Carpentry I".
